Convert your Items into Cash with iSold It's Drop-Off Service. It's easy!

Step 1: Drop it Off.

Stop by any of our iSold It Stores with the items you'd like to sell.  Our experienced staff will conduct On-line research while you wait to see if these items are what sells best and that your item's fair market value on eBay is at least $75.  Then, we'll work with you to capture the key features or other points about your item to include in your eBay listing.  Once your item is checked in, we'll place it in our inventory and give you a receipt.  Then we get to work professionally photographing and listing your item on eBay.

 Step 2: Watch the Action.

After we've listed your item on eBay, we'll send you an email with a link to the Auction, so that you can watch all the action as it occurs. Many of our sellers tell us this part is as fun as getting their final check!

 Step 3: Collect Your Check.

After your item sells, we collect payment from the Buyer and then professionally package and ship your item to the winning bidder.  Once the transaction is complete, we send you a check.  Or, if you prefer, we can send the proceeds to your favorite charity under our Fund Raising Program

Is your item too large to bring into our Store?

If so, you can bring us photographs and information about your items, and we can list it for you with our Large Item Service.  Or our iSold It at Home service will come right to your home or business and do all the work for you for a small fee.

Expected Values, Commission and Fees are subject to change and may vary by location. Each iSold It Store is independently owned and operated.
What does it cost to sell my stuff with iSold It?

Finding the hidden value in something can bring you money which you didn’t even expect. iSold It provides a professional listing service that can help you find more value for your item. We bring the experience of doing thousands of listings that are specially tailored for the Online Marketplace, we have some of the highest Buyer feedback scores and we advertise to millions of potential Buyers through eBay and other Online Websites. This compares to consignment Stores who only reach a few hundred potential Buyers and charge 50% or more.

iSold It does not charge you anything upfront to list your item. Once your item sells, iSold It deducts both our commission and eBay and payment processing fees before sending you a check for the balance.

  • iSold It Commission (may vary by Store)
Typically, iSold It's commission is 33% to 40%. The commission maybe lower on higher priced items. iSold It charges a $5.00 minimum commission per item.
  • eBay Fees
Listing/Gallery photo fee of $0.75 (assumes $9.99 starting bid) plus 5.25% of the first $25, 3.25% of the next $975, and 1.5% of any amount over $1,000.
  • Payment Processing Fees
$1.25 plus 3.0% of the total transaction value (sales price, shipping & handling and sales tax)
Note: Commission and Fees are subject to change and may vary by location. Each iSold It Store is independently owned and operated.

Don't know the value of your item?
It's easy to determine the value of an item from your own home. Simply visit www.ebay.com and search for items up for auction that are similar to yours. (For final winning bid information, use eBay's Advanced Search feature, and search under "completed auctions". Still want to learn more? Bring your item in for our Store staff to research, or call your nearest Store location for assistance.

All items must also be legal for sale on eBay. (no counterfeits, hazardous materials, etc.) Please see the full list of eBay's restricted items for details.

How long do you list my item for sale on eBay?

Typically, iSold It uses a seven day auction to maximize bidding interest. We are, however, able to do auctions as short as 1 day for items with time constraints (i.e. tickets for sporting events, concerts etc.)

What if my item doesn't sell during the auction period?

If your item doesn't sell, you will be notified via email and:

  • Can pick it up at the store within 10 days of auction close, OR
  • We'll donate your item to charity.
Can I set a minimum selling price for my eBay auction?

Yes. Sellers are able to set an opening bid of $9.99 or higher. However, while minimum opening bids above $9.99 do provide a "safety net" for which an item must sell, they can limit bidding activity.

When can I expect to receive my check?

Typically, you will receive a check approximately 30 -45 days from the date you dropped off your item. Please note that winning bidders who delay in paying for your item will cause delays in our timing for sending out your check. In addition, occasionally a winning bidder may never pay for your item. In this case, we will cancel the original auction and relist your item for free. Your check amount and payment timing will be based on the results of this new Auction.

How does iSold It earn its commission?

Like any retailer, iSold It makes a commission on the items we sell. This fee is used to cover the costs of photographing, listing, payment collection, customer service and packing + shipping. Once the item sells, iSold It deducts both our commission and eBay and payment processing fees before sending you a check.  Check with your local iSold It store for their specific commission schedule.
